So it's FIAB time again. How?
I tried to make my sign-up as extensive as possible with the general likes list that I expanded and reorganized a little, because I generally suck at prompting and it takes me forever. But I thought I'd try writing a letter this time anyway, to give you some kind of an idea of where my head's at with these. Especially since some are first time requests for me. Some parts are longer, some shorter, but trust me when I say that this is no indication of what I want more. If I request it then that means I want it, even if it's at the bottom of the list with one single sentence.
I think of my likes list as general prompts, and you honestly can't go wrong with picking one or more of those over any fandom-specific prompts I've added. I love to be surprised instead of dictating exactly how a story must go, beat by beat. Just don't try to force all of them into the same story, maybe? Also, if a prompt in one fandom sparks an idea for another fandom, go ahead! This entire wall of text here is stuff I like. :D
As for the opt-ins, I feel they're self-explanatory so I'm not adding them here. I picked a few that could fit the canon easily. As usual, there are so many others I'd be really curious to see, like the isometric rooms or voxel art, or fanvids, or maps for From, or conspiracy board type things for Rabbit Hole, but I wouldn't know how to even start prompting for them.
This'll get long with ten fandoms and all the ships and characters, so I added some anchor links that hopefully make this less hellish to read. If something's broken after all, please comment and I'll fix it.
DNW:
Noncon between ship characters, unrequested permanent ship character death, focus on children/pregnancy, focus on pets, highschool/band/coffeeshop/etc. AUs that drastically change the setting, crossovers or fusions, omegaverse, bestiality, scat, daddy/mommy kink, smoking weed, focus on food/cooking, ship characters as asexual or aromantic, trans/neurodivergence headcanons
Some clarification just in case (because I'm never sure if my DNWs are clear or conflicting and confusing):
Noncon by other characters or as background story is very welcome, esp. as an element of hurt/trauma. Dubcon is fine.
Adding some supernatural/horror elements into a canon, as long as the canon setting itself stays the same in general, is welcome and doesn't hit the AU DNW.
Canonically trans or neurodivergent characters and OCs are always welcome.
LIKES:
Getting together, first times, new experiences, new feelings
Complicated feelings/relationships, inner conflict, themes of guilt or shame, esp. when met with trust and reassurance

Here's one of my "Should I focus on just a couple of... Never mind, let's throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks!" requests. :D I think B5 might be my favorite show ever? The world, the characters, the story lines, the way it grabs you and gets under your skin and you just live in that world with these amazing characters going through one hell of a journey. On every rewatch I remember just how awesome this thing is. <3
I also own the books so if you feel like borrowing elements from those, please do. But I'm perfectly happy ignoring bits of canon for plot purposes, be it the books or the show itself, or any of the movies. All the canon divergence, yes please!
I feel like I'll suck at prompts because I sort of want everything! :D I've requested some of these before so you're likely to find some prompts from previous letters/sign-ups. Also, I'm very happy to have an Everyone Lives AU for any of these. And everyone is welcome to show up, always.
Alfred Bester/Michael Garibaldi
I love the antagonism between these two, and how their story keeps continuing even after the show, until the very end. I'd love anything from during canon, a missing scene, or something about what Bester did to Garibaldi and how Garibaldi's dealing with it beyond what we see. Making up something AU for post-canon would also be a delight, it really doesn't need to go the way the books do. Either one getting the upper hand is great, as is either POV. Or they need to join forces, as horrible as that is to both of them.
One of the reasons I enjoy B5 so much is that everyone's fleshed out, and even someone as evil as Bester has his redeeming qualities, and his motivations make sense, even when we might not agree with them. It makes everything more chilling. It's wonderful! So don't worry if it gets a bit darker and torture-y at times. As long as it doesn't end it total misery it's fine. And I always love a situation where they begrudgingly come to a temporary truce of some sort. (Also, I will never stop loving that "Anatomically impossible, Mr. Garibaldi, but you're welcome to try. Anytime, anywhere." One of my favourite lines among all the deep and impactful ones. :D I always wonder what it is and can think of a few things, some of which I would indeed like to see Garibaldi try. :D) And I've made a note of his gloves before. I like them very much. Yes. :D
Michael Garibaldi/Jeffrey Sinclair
Michael Garibaldi & Valen
These two are the best together. <3 Honestly, I'd be happy with anything, pre-canon or during, or even post-canon. I ship them and always want something that pushes them together, whether it's something that happens without them noticing or something more intense. They have a history, so feel free to play with that. But I'm also fascinated by how Michael deals with the fact that he actually knows Valen. Some of my likes around time travel tropes would be great here. What if there's more time travel somehow, and Michael ends up in Valen's time too?
Stephen Franklin/Michael Garibaldi
It's funny, this isn't a ship that often comes to my mind, but when it does I realize I enjoy their friendship and chemistry a lot, and it could be fun to see how this would happen. Something h/c would clearly work here, with Stephen doing the patching up, or Michael taking care of Stephen when he's struggling, or both of them bonding over something related to addiction. Yes, dark, I know. But I'd also welcome some funny banter and them ending up doing something stupid together, like locking themselves in somewhere, or maybe one of them loses a bet. :)
Marcus Cole/Neroon
I don't think I've ever officially requested this? Which is weird, because it has such wonderful potential. So now I thought what the hell, let's request all the things. :D Again, I don't know what to prompt for. Agh. I enjoy the way they really don't seem to get along at first, but there's still something there that connects them. I adore that moment of laughter. <3 I'm also always fond of seeing the more Minbari side of Marcus, with him being a Ranger, but it could definitely be fun if he showed Neroon some very human things too. Neroon gets amnesia for reasons and it's a bit of a disaster, but somehow Marcus navigates it?
Marcus Cole/Stephen Franklin
So, let's get the most obvious thing out of the way first: Their marriage. :D I will always love to see something related to that. Maybe they are literally, officially married to make it airtight, and that's causing a whole new set of problems once the mission's done. Maybe Marcus decides to celebrate their fake anniversary as a joke but things get out of hand and it turns into an actual date. Or there's some sparring accident and he needs to be treated. Or it's all very angsty until Stephen finds away to wake him up. Or all the ways Marcus drives Stephen up the wall. I'm not picky at all.

My mission is, and always will be, to get Thomas a boyfriend who loves him. Preferably one that doesn't hurt him but makes him happy and makes him smile, and gives him what he deserves. So here are four ways to make that happen. :D And hey, maybe it's not just a boyfriend, maybe there's a ceremony of their own where they decide they are as good as married for life. That'd be sweet, right?
Thomas/Edward
I'm never going to be okay with the fact that they killed Edward the way they did. It's so sad and heartbreaking. So I'd love all the Edward Courtenay Lives AUs in the world. Maybe a recovery story of some sort, or maybe they meet at a later point and Edward remembers Thomas by voice and things evolve from there. I don't know. Maybe he regains some of his sight and the first thing he finally sees is Thomas.
Thomas/Jimmy
I'd really like Jimmy to figure out later that he does in fact feel something for Thomas, and the reason he reacted so violently is because he didn't realize it at the time, but now he knows. Or maybe everything goes a little differently and Jimmy stays a while longer. This could even be set years after when they're older and wiser.
Thomas/Tom
Either during canon or post-canon is great. They start as equals but they have such different paths. I'd like to see them become something more over the years. Maybe they get together early, before Sybil/Tom ever happened. Maybe they only find each other later when Tom sees Thomas with the kids, and decides to get to know him better. I know my DNW says no focus on kids, but I'm perfectly fine with Sybbie occasionally being there, and Thomas and Tom mentioning her when they're bonding. The DNW is more that I don't want the entire fic to be about Sybbie who has two new dads, so everything revolves around her, and she's all they talk about. For a darker take, neither Sybil nor Sybbie made it, and Tom's on his own? Or maybe they suddenly meet overseas?

Last but not least, give me the ideal best boyfriend Thomas could have. <3 They could meet anywhere. Maybe there's a guest who arrives at the house, or it's the postman, or maybe someone new moves into town and puts up a pub or a barbershop or whatever, maybe Thomas goes travelling and runs into an interesting guy. I'm happy with anything. Could be English, could be from elsewhere. Or maybe it's someone he knew in the war, set either during the war or after. Someone younger than Thomas? Someone a bit older? His own age? All good.

This show is so entertaining and weird and a little spooky at times but not quite horror. And then second season made it even weirder. I'm so curious to see what comes next! What is happening, why is it happening, what is real. There's so much mystery, so many questions, and I like the weirdness of the town and forest and the creatures, and the trees and tunnels etc. It's like these people are in a dream with dream logic but it's somehow real. These are all ships I got in my head when I first started watching this, before I had any idea where it was going to end up, and I wasn't even going to it with the plan to ship anyone. But here they are. As for the mythology, please feel free to give me all the worldbuilding to go with these! I like most of the characters so anyone's free to show up. Some of my faves are Donna, Victor and Kevin.
Khatri/Boyd
So. Father Khatri. I feel like he has this strong presence, and chemistry with everyone and everything. Seriously. So I kind of ship him with everyone. <3 But to pick one, I'm so very fond of the bond these two seem to share, with the (short-ish) history, and I wish we'd gotten further with it. Please fix it somehow! Or give me something pre-canon, a missing scene, something we haven't been shown yet about these two. Some particularly rough night when they're stuck together, before talismans, trying to survive the night. Or play with the worldbuilding aspect and the mythology. S2 was very good for this ship, too (and I may have made excited noises when I saw him in that chair). :D Maybe there is a way they can still meet for real, later?
Jade/Jim
Oh, Jade. :D My headcanon is that he's very much not straight. And he's so clearly infatuated with Jim, but maybe he doesn't know why, or he knows and it pisses him off. Why else would be make a note of his blue eyes like that? He's such a fun character, annoying as hell but clearly trying when he stops to actually think. He just really doesn't know how to behave around people without coming across as a jerk. And Jim's this all around good guy, family man, which sounds a bit boring on paper but he manages to be really charming anyway (while looking annoyingly good with that hair and stubble, goddammit). I really enjoy the moments between him and Jim when they try out the radio, and Jim gets worried and goes to him when he has that attack. They're just very intense towards each other and it's great. :D I want more of that, either season or later.
Nathan/Sara
I don't even know why my first thought was "I ship you" but it was, and still is. It's weird. You could go with pre-canon and something that happened between the two before they got into the town, or maybe something in the town but before the Matthews family got there. Or maybe a canon divergence AU where Nathan didn't die but someone else did, or Nathan only got injured, or he died but somehow got better and it's freaky. Or now he's one of the creatures somehow but he doesn't hurt Sara though the urge is there. I don't know. I just really enjoy the protective brother vibe Nathan has. And Sara's tormented and not fine at all, and I like the idea of him being there, and maybe it's not all healthy but that's fine, it's their way.

Holy loaded looks, Batman. :O Sometimes it feels like they're having some totally separate, private conversation in addition to the one they're actually having, by just looking at each other. How are these two not together in canon? Well, clearly they have been, and I want to hear about that. :D I love everything about how much Weir needs Valence to keep him in balance, it's like catnip to me. <3 And how protective he is. He even sacrificed himself! More of those moments of cracking and losing it and making it better again would be fantastic.
All the canon-divergent fix-its! Valence did not die. Nope, it's an elaborate ploy so he can go underground and be free, and he made it look and feel real. Maybe he played with Weir's mind enough that Weir saw (or thinks he saw) what Valence wanted him to see, but it wasn't all real. (How? I don't know. Handwave something, even the flimsiest or the most outrageous explanation is welcome! Maybe someone else had to die for it. Maybe Valence only dropped a floor or two and got in through a window and the dead body is a random guy who'd already died. I don't know!) Maybe Weir's now working a job and suddenly Valence is right there, out of nowhere, and very much not dead.
Or something pre-canon when they were alive and well and less haunted. Please have them be at least 16-17 if there's anything more explicit.
Or, you know, Valence did die but now he's back anyway, haunting John somehow, and John's not sure if he's losing it. (Also very fine with something not entirely natural explaining his comeback, whether it's full on resurrection or immortality or being a ghost. This wouldn't break my DNW for AUs.)
John Weir & Ben Wilson
These two and their messy relationship. :D I feel like you could pick any point in time and there's something you could do with it. Something from years ago when they were working together, Ben teaching John and Miles. Any of the missing scenes/years and what was happening then. Or something set in the present (or post-canon) where they're dealing with all the baggage and trying to make it work again. Some sort of a heist would be great, too. I just enjoy these two separately and together. A Ben POV could be fun. I'm so not good with prompts for this one, I just know I'd be happy to get it.

So. Thanks to S2, I needed to edit this c&p from my previous sign-up because otherwise I'd just be requesting canon events. :D But mostly it's still accurate.
I love everything about this ship* and how they interact (and I love them separately as well) and it's been a while since I was this into a canon het ship. I would take any and every opportunity of having them together, whether it's briefly or more long term. Spock getting hurt and Chapel taking care of him? Nice! Chapel getting hurt and Spock having to take care of her instead? Very nice! More chances for a pretend relationship that involves actual, now clearly very complicated feelings from either side or both, yes please. Drinks at the bar, a dare, a mindmeld for reasons, a lesson in human emotions and the freedom in letting go, all the lovely human/Vulcan differences, maybe Spock dealing with jealousy and scolding himself for lack of control over his emotions.
*Damn new season for making this not 100% true. I don't love the break-up or the way they broke up. It feels a bit OOC for Christine to just do a song and dance about it, literally, like she stopped caring mid-sentence. But hey, that's something that could obviously be fixed, so it's not all bad. Maybe they have a thorough talk about it. Maybe they're apart and figure things out. Maybe there's one last time to do it differently.
Una/La'an
These two. <3 I love how Una seems so calm and stable while La'an's very volatile, yet somehow Una just gets her and calms her down, but they can also get charmingly playful with each other. Maybe it's their similar backgrounds. I'd love to see a moment of them bonding, having fun, rescuing each other, pairing up for a mission, falling for each other, doing combat practice, arguing and making up, Una helping La'an deal with her traumatic past. The new season gave us some more of these two together but not nearly enough! I need them to share adventures and get stuck together and tell each other how they feel at some really inconvenient moment. Anything, really.
La'an/Kirk
I... was not expecting to like this? At the start it felt very "let's randomly give La'an a romance plot and throw a dart for who it'll be" but somehow these two made it work. I think it's the tragedy of it? (Sorry La'an, but you hurt very prettily. It also makes me want to fix everything and make you happy again.) There's the obvious loss from timeline tweaking, but also that Kirk's not available, and of course now all I want is for them to find a way to make it work. I don't even know how! More time travel? Kirk starts to get memories he's not supposed to? I'm also fine if the Kirk in the ship is another timeline version of him, or if there's suddenly two Kirks. Maybe the other Kirk, her Kirk, gets flung into this timeline but has temporary amnesia. I'm really not picky! I just want La'an to get the person she wants.

I have to admit that I haven't seen all of S&H (there's so much to watch!) but I'm working on it, and I've seen plenty, and I'm fine with spoilers if there are any. This is one of the shippiest ships out there, isn't it? :D So much potential for everything. All the undercover stuff (both short-time for a small case and longer where one has to infiltrate a group and there are meetings with a handler etc.), and hurt/comfort and pining, and all the intense and meaningful moments of being really close to each other. They are so married already but they don't seem to realize it. They really should.

God I love these two together. I remember when I first gave this a try. I wasn't prepared for how badly they'd tackle me. :D Their chemistry is everything. <3 I want more of it. All of it. Harvey being a bit of a dick but with a heart, Mike being his brilliant self but still not always the smartest, and all the ways they could end up together, any point in time. All the tropey stuff.
Or maybe there's a villain there to menace them! I tried to decide who should be the main target, but then figured I'm very fond of all the scenarios, whether it's Mike (Harvey to the rescue, being so protective it's not even funny), or Harvey (Mike will figure out a way, I'm sure), or both (Ahhh, both in peril and clinging to each other, figuratively or metaphorically!). I don't even care what it is, if it's blackmailing or kidnapping or something genuinely life threatening. I feel like anything's good if it gets them off balance and brings them closer.

Once again a fandom where I ship everyone in this bar. :D But here's a small selection. I've requested a lot of these before so I'm going to borrow some previous prompts and thoughts.
Beard/Ted
Honestly, it was the end of 1x05 that did it for me. Beard's feet and how he shifts closer to Ted, whether he realizes it or not. His body knows what he wants. Does he? Maybe he doesn't know he's into Ted and it comes as a surprise at some very inconvenient moment. Or he knows he's into Ted but tries to ignore it to the point of making up lies about his perfect relationship and pushing Ted on dates etc. Or Ted can see that things are really, really not fine with Jane, so he tries to fix it and things evolve from there. Or some good old h/c that could go either way. Maybe they it starts when they've been a part, in different countries, and really start to miss each other. I'm not fussed here, any point in canon or pre or post is great. :D
Trent/Ted
They're so much fun, omg. I love how they end up being friends despite everything, and I wish we got more of them together on screen. So, for something set earlier, maybe Trent balancing between being a journalist and being a friend/more than a friend? Or all the ways he's involved with Ted's life as he's making the book, and how it brings them closer. Or something post-canon where he's figuring out his future and what he wants to do next. Somehow Ted's involved, but where and how? It could be fun to see Trent visiting Ted and being on Ted's territory for once.
Trent/Colin
Ngl, the moment I saw them at the club together I needed Colin to break up with his boyfriend. I know! Awful! They're so sweet together I shouldn't want this. But I did and do, so he could end up with Trent because I feel they'd be wonderful together. :D Maybe Trent's pining, trying not to do anything, and finally things change when he least expects it.
Isaac/Colin
I just... really like the idea that Isaac, despite everything, starts to realize that maybe he's into guys anyway, or at least into Colin? And that's why his initial reaction was so rough? Maybe it happens slowly and one day he's like shit, this is not good, he's taken so I need to pull away, and Colin's not fine with that at all.
Roy/Jamie
Does this even need any explanation? :D I mean Jesus, these two. <3 They're both kind of terrible in their own ways, and together they're often the worst, but then when it works out it's like magic and I just adore the chemistry between them. I will never tire of them having a go at each other but also bonding and getting really close. Maybe Jamie gets yet another stupid idea and pulls Ray into it. Maybe they're enjoying an evening in some other town they're visiting. Maybe Ray's training methods get a bit too intense and something breaks. Or go for something darker with James causing a whole set of issues, and Jamie ending up at Ray's place or something.
Rebecca/Keeley
In an earlier prompt I mentioned that I love Keeley so much, but the fact is that obviously I love them both, so. <3 And they'd make such a great couple! Keeley's fun, smart, confident af, flirty, open to everything. Hot too. And Rebecca also knows how to be tough and confident and stunning, but she's more reserved, and I love the moments when she makes a statement and just shines.
I love how Keeley flirts with Rebecca and is just do damn easy about it all. So maybe they hook up for one time because it seems like a fun thing to do, or maybe they catch feelings and it's more serious. Maybe there's a dare or a bet, or maybe Rebecca's going on a date and he doesn't show up and Keeley's there to make sure she gets a full date anyway? Or maybe Keeley needs something and Rebecca fixes it or helps her out.

TOP GUN (MOVIES)
Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw/Pete "Maverick" Mitchell
I'm a simple person with simple needs, and one of those needs is this messy pair of people struggling to deal with each other and their history and what they've been through, both trying in their own way to pull away from it but being completely and totally unable to do that. When they collide it's still a mess but it's a beautiful mess. There's anger and guilt and sense of duty, and this sort of pseudo incest vibe, and I just love it to pieces.
From last year's FIAB:
They're such a delicious pair of characters with a built in dynamic thatspeaks screams to my id. Their entire arc, aaaa! It's already perfect but add some shippiness and o m g. I mean, wanting your dead dad's friend who you believe caused your dad's death and tried to ruin your career? Wanting your dead friend's son who you're supposed to think of in non-sexual ways but you just keep slipping? How delightful!
All the inner conflict Bradley could have. The torment of wanting Maverick and knowing he's like family so he shouldn't, not Mav, anyone but Mav. Hating Mav and blaming him for so many things, and then hating himself for being so weak and even considering forgiveness. And finally caving in and dealing with it. The struggle and angst along the way makes it wonderful, the intensity between them. And Mav having his own inner turmoil because Bradley is who he is, he's so off limits it's not even funny, and then hating himself when his resistance cracks. Just. They both have so many reasons to resist but they're also kind of perfect for each other once they get there. They need each other to feel whole.
Maybe a snapshot or a missing scene from the movie (or pre-movie). Riding Mav's bike, fixing things together and getting all greasy and needing a clean-up, oh dear. Okay, so I shoved all this stuff into my nominations slots thinking "Hmm, I like the idea of this existing" and then promptly decided to request it all, too. :D I just love this show, the cast, the characters, the paranormal-or-not-who-even-knows mysteries, the bizarre murder cases, and all the potential it had. And in case you wonder, I'm not averse to the gruesomeness at all! I thought it was sort of cool, heads in flowerpots and all that. I'm not squeamish so more of gruesome murder scenes wouldn't be unwelcome. And even though Ed's not there, I love that sweet nerdy guy, so he's always welcome to join.
For any of these, I would love anything from a regular work case to someone being in peril and needing a rescue, or someone getting hurt (Joe? Ray?) or disappearing (Mansell? Kent?). Or something that's definitely paranormal, like haunted places, more dead people talking through a medium, shadows just in the corner of your eye, all the spooky stuff. Or a day off, a night out, something more mundane. Or they need to work a case with another team for whatever reason and now it's us vs. them. Maybe there's a particularly nasty series of murders and the murderer toys with the team, or targets one (but not Megan, please).
Joe/Kent
This is the most canon-friendly of the ships for sure, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of the idea of them ending up together. It would've been perfect! So obviously I'll take anything that gives them that final push. Anything I've prompted for them before is still welcome. Kent rescuing Joe from eager women, someone getting hurt during a case, Joe having a terrible time and Kent helping him out, or maybe it's Joe who finds Kent spiralling and it's vice versa.
Kent/Mansell
I love the way these two clash in the beginning, and it's like they'll never get along. I like how Mansell somehow manages to be the smarter one by seeing what's there and what Kent should do to move forward. How would these two end up together instead? Who starts it? Does Erica dating Mansell make Kent go "oh no, he's hot now, wtf"? (Just don't hurt Erica in the process, she means a lot to both. Maybe it's an open relationship thing, maybe they can't make it work, I don't know. Also, FWIW, while I'm not looking for a fic focusing on this threesome, I'm not opposed to the idea that they have some kind of an arrangement between all three, in all permutations. I don't have a DNW for consensual incest for a reason. And like... sometimes siblings might share a person. :D)

Their canon friendship is wonderful, so yay for more of that! All the emotional angst and hurt/comfort and friendly support! But I can also see a situation where, with all the help and caring Ray offers him, Joe could end up feeling more. So yes, also very open to that. (I'm not always the biggest fan of killing off women to make the m/m happen but.. maybe an AU where Judy wasn't pregnant and it was in fact worse?)

And then there's Louise Iver. :D I desperately wanted to know what her deal was! Please tell me. How's the world from her POV, what's she up to when the team doesn't see, what's her history, what's her future? Is she a part of some cult or a leader of one? Is she immortal. Actually, is she even human? Does she always look like an old lady? Is she a time traveller? Or combine her with any and all of the team, ruining their day and nerves, that'd be perfect! She seems to know and see a lot, and she must get the information somehow. But how? Does she have some form of contact with dead people like Joe's father? Are there more people like her?

I tried to make my sign-up as extensive as possible with the general likes list that I expanded and reorganized a little, because I generally suck at prompting and it takes me forever. But I thought I'd try writing a letter this time anyway, to give you some kind of an idea of where my head's at with these. Especially since some are first time requests for me. Some parts are longer, some shorter, but trust me when I say that this is no indication of what I want more. If I request it then that means I want it, even if it's at the bottom of the list with one single sentence.
I think of my likes list as general prompts, and you honestly can't go wrong with picking one or more of those over any fandom-specific prompts I've added. I love to be surprised instead of dictating exactly how a story must go, beat by beat. Just don't try to force all of them into the same story, maybe? Also, if a prompt in one fandom sparks an idea for another fandom, go ahead! This entire wall of text here is stuff I like. :D
As for the opt-ins, I feel they're self-explanatory so I'm not adding them here. I picked a few that could fit the canon easily. Here's one of my "Should I focus on just a couple of... Never mind, let's throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks!" requests. :D I think B5 might be my favorite show ever? The world, the characters, the story lines, the way it grabs you and gets under your skin and you just live in that world with these amazing characters going through one hell of a journey. On every rewatch I remember just how awesome this thing is. <3
I also own the books so if you feel like borrowing elements from those, please do. But I'm perfectly happy ignoring bits of canon for plot purposes, be it the books or the show itself, or any of the movies. All the canon divergence, yes please!

Alfred Bester/Michael Garibaldi
I love the antagonism between these two, and how their story keeps continuing even after the show, until the very end. I'd love anything from during canon, a missing scene, or something about what Bester did to Garibaldi and how Garibaldi's dealing with it beyond what we see. Making up something AU for post-canon would also be a delight, it really doesn't need to go the way the books do. Either one getting the upper hand is great, as is either POV. Or they need to join forces, as horrible as that is to both of them.
One of the reasons I enjoy B5 so much is that everyone's fleshed out, and even someone as evil as Bester has his redeeming qualities, and his motivations make sense, even when we might not agree with them. It makes everything more chilling. It's wonderful! So don't worry if it gets a bit darker and torture-y at times. As long as it doesn't end it total misery it's fine. And I always love a situation where they begrudgingly come to a temporary truce of some sort. (Also, I will never stop loving that "Anatomically impossible, Mr. Garibaldi, but you're welcome to try. Anytime, anywhere." One of my favourite lines among all the deep and impactful ones. :D I always wonder what it is and can think of a few things, some of which I would indeed like to see Garibaldi try. :D) And I've made a note of his gloves before. I like them very much. Yes. :D

These two are the best together. <3 Honestly, I'd be happy with anything, pre-canon or during, or even post-canon. I ship them and always want something that pushes them together, whether it's something that happens without them noticing or something more intense. They have a history, so feel free to play with that. But I'm also fascinated by how Michael deals with the fact that he actually knows Valen. Some of my likes around time travel tropes would be great here. What if there's more time travel somehow, and Michael ends up in Valen's time too?
Stephen Franklin/Michael Garibaldi
It's funny, this isn't a ship that often comes to my mind, but when it does I realize I enjoy their friendship and chemistry a lot, and it could be fun to see how this would happen. Something h/c would clearly work here, with Stephen doing the patching up, or Michael taking care of Stephen when he's struggling, or both of them bonding over something related to addiction. Yes, dark, I know. But I'd also welcome some funny banter and them ending up doing something stupid together, like locking themselves in somewhere, or maybe one of them loses a bet. :)
Marcus Cole/Neroon
I don't think I've ever officially requested this? Which is weird, because it has such wonderful potential. So now I thought what the hell, let's request all the things. :D Again, I don't know what to prompt for. Agh. I enjoy the way they really don't seem to get along at first, but there's still something there that connects them. I adore that moment of laughter. <3 I'm also always fond of seeing the more Minbari side of Marcus, with him being a Ranger, but it could definitely be fun if he showed Neroon some very human things too. Neroon gets amnesia for reasons and it's a bit of a disaster, but somehow Marcus navigates it?
Marcus Cole/Stephen Franklin
So, let's get the most obvious thing out of the way first: Their marriage. :D I will always love to see something related to that. Maybe they are literally, officially married to make it airtight, and that's causing a whole new set of problems once the mission's done. Maybe Marcus decides to celebrate their fake anniversary as a joke but things get out of hand and it turns into an actual date. Or there's some sparring accident and he needs to be treated. Or it's all very angsty until Stephen finds away to wake him up. Or all the ways Marcus drives Stephen up the wall. I'm not picky at all.

I'm never going to be okay with the fact that they killed Edward the way they did. It's so sad and heartbreaking. So I'd love all the Edward Courtenay Lives AUs in the world. Maybe a recovery story of some sort, or maybe they meet at a later point and Edward remembers Thomas by voice and things evolve from there. I don't know. Maybe he regains some of his sight and the first thing he finally sees is Thomas.

I'd really like Jimmy to figure out later that he does in fact feel something for Thomas, and the reason he reacted so violently is because he didn't realize it at the time, but now he knows. Or maybe everything goes a little differently and Jimmy stays a while longer. This could even be set years after when they're older and wiser.

Either during canon or post-canon is great. They start as equals but they have such different paths. I'd like to see them become something more over the years. Maybe they get together early, before Sybil/Tom ever happened. Maybe they only find each other later when Tom sees Thomas with the kids, and decides to get to know him better. I know my DNW says no focus on kids, but I'm perfectly fine with Sybbie occasionally being there, and Thomas and Tom mentioning her when they're bonding. The DNW is more that I don't want the entire fic to be about Sybbie who has two new dads, so everything revolves around her, and she's all they talk about. For a darker take, neither Sybil nor Sybbie made it, and Tom's on his own? Or maybe they suddenly meet overseas?

Last but not least, give me the ideal best boyfriend Thomas could have. <3 They could meet anywhere. Maybe there's a guest who arrives at the house, or it's the postman, or maybe someone new moves into town and puts up a pub or a barbershop or whatever, maybe Thomas goes travelling and runs into an interesting guy. I'm happy with anything. Could be English, could be from elsewhere. Or maybe it's someone he knew in the war, set either during the war or after. Someone younger than Thomas? Someone a bit older? His own age? All good.

This show is so entertaining and weird and a little spooky at times but not quite horror. And then second season made it even weirder. I'm so curious to see what comes next! What is happening, why is it happening, what is real. There's so much mystery, so many questions, and I like the weirdness of the town and forest and the creatures, and the trees and tunnels etc. It's like these people are in a dream with dream logic but it's somehow real. These are all ships I got in my head when I first started watching this, before I had any idea where it was going to end up, and I wasn't even going to it with the plan to ship anyone. But here they are. As for the mythology, please feel free to give me all the worldbuilding to go with these! I like most of the characters so anyone's free to show up. Some of my faves are Donna, Victor and Kevin.
Khatri/Boyd
So. Father Khatri. I feel like he has this strong presence, and chemistry with everyone and everything. Seriously. So I kind of ship him with everyone. <3 But to pick one, I'm so very fond of the bond these two seem to share, with the (short-ish) history, and I wish we'd gotten further with it. Please fix it somehow! Or give me something pre-canon, a missing scene, something we haven't been shown yet about these two. Some particularly rough night when they're stuck together, before talismans, trying to survive the night. Or play with the worldbuilding aspect and the mythology. S2 was very good for this ship, too (and I may have made excited noises when I saw him in that chair). :D Maybe there is a way they can still meet for real, later?

Oh, Jade. :D My headcanon is that he's very much not straight. And he's so clearly infatuated with Jim, but maybe he doesn't know why, or he knows and it pisses him off. Why else would be make a note of his blue eyes like that? He's such a fun character, annoying as hell but clearly trying when he stops to actually think. He just really doesn't know how to behave around people without coming across as a jerk. And Jim's this all around good guy, family man, which sounds a bit boring on paper but he manages to be really charming anyway (while looking annoyingly good with that hair and stubble, goddammit). I really enjoy the moments between him and Jim when they try out the radio, and Jim gets worried and goes to him when he has that attack. They're just very intense towards each other and it's great. :D I want more of that, either season or later.
Nathan/Sara
I don't even know why my first thought was "I ship you" but it was, and still is. It's weird. You could go with pre-canon and something that happened between the two before they got into the town, or maybe something in the town but before the Matthews family got there. Or maybe a canon divergence AU where Nathan didn't die but someone else did, or Nathan only got injured, or he died but somehow got better and it's freaky. Or now he's one of the creatures somehow but he doesn't hurt Sara though the urge is there. I don't know. I just really enjoy the protective brother vibe Nathan has. And Sara's tormented and not fine at all, and I like the idea of him being there, and maybe it's not all healthy but that's fine, it's their way.

Holy loaded looks, Batman. :O Sometimes it feels like they're having some totally separate, private conversation in addition to the one they're actually having, by just looking at each other. How are these two not together in canon? Well, clearly they have been, and I want to hear about that. :D I love everything about how much Weir needs Valence to keep him in balance, it's like catnip to me. <3 And how protective he is. He even sacrificed himself! More of those moments of cracking and losing it and making it better again would be fantastic.
All the canon-divergent fix-its! Valence did not die. Nope, it's an elaborate ploy so he can go underground and be free, and he made it look and feel real. Maybe he played with Weir's mind enough that Weir saw (or thinks he saw) what Valence wanted him to see, but it wasn't all real. (How? I don't know. Handwave something, even the flimsiest or the most outrageous explanation is welcome! Maybe someone else had to die for it. Maybe Valence only dropped a floor or two and got in through a window and the dead body is a random guy who'd already died. I don't know!) Maybe Weir's now working a job and suddenly Valence is right there, out of nowhere, and very much not dead.
Or something pre-canon when they were alive and well and less haunted. Please have them be at least 16-17 if there's anything more explicit.
Or, you know, Valence did die but now he's back anyway, haunting John somehow, and John's not sure if he's losing it. (Also very fine with something not entirely natural explaining his comeback, whether it's full on resurrection or immortality or being a ghost. This wouldn't break my DNW for AUs.)
John Weir & Ben Wilson
These two and their messy relationship. :D I feel like you could pick any point in time and there's something you could do with it. Something from years ago when they were working together, Ben teaching John and Miles. Any of the missing scenes/years and what was happening then. Or something set in the present (or post-canon) where they're dealing with all the baggage and trying to make it work again. Some sort of a heist would be great, too. I just enjoy these two separately and together. A Ben POV could be fun. I'm so not good with prompts for this one, I just know I'd be happy to get it.

So. Thanks to S2, I needed to edit this c&p from my previous sign-up because otherwise I'd just be requesting canon events. :D But mostly it's still accurate.
I love everything about this ship* and how they interact (and I love them separately as well) and it's been a while since I was this into a canon het ship. I would take any and every opportunity of having them together, whether it's briefly or more long term. Spock getting hurt and Chapel taking care of him? Nice! Chapel getting hurt and Spock having to take care of her instead? Very nice! More chances for a pretend relationship that involves actual, now clearly very complicated feelings from either side or both, yes please. Drinks at the bar, a dare, a mindmeld for reasons, a lesson in human emotions and the freedom in letting go, all the lovely human/Vulcan differences, maybe Spock dealing with jealousy and scolding himself for lack of control over his emotions.
*Damn new season for making this not 100% true. I don't love the break-up or the way they broke up. It feels a bit OOC for Christine to just do a song and dance about it, literally, like she stopped caring mid-sentence. But hey, that's something that could obviously be fixed, so it's not all bad. Maybe they have a thorough talk about it. Maybe they're apart and figure things out. Maybe there's one last time to do it differently.
Una/La'an
These two. <3 I love how Una seems so calm and stable while La'an's very volatile, yet somehow Una just gets her and calms her down, but they can also get charmingly playful with each other. Maybe it's their similar backgrounds. I'd love to see a moment of them bonding, having fun, rescuing each other, pairing up for a mission, falling for each other, doing combat practice, arguing and making up, Una helping La'an deal with her traumatic past. The new season gave us some more of these two together but not nearly enough! I need them to share adventures and get stuck together and tell each other how they feel at some really inconvenient moment. Anything, really.
La'an/Kirk
I... was not expecting to like this? At the start it felt very "let's randomly give La'an a romance plot and throw a dart for who it'll be" but somehow these two made it work. I think it's the tragedy of it? (Sorry La'an, but you hurt very prettily. It also makes me want to fix everything and make you happy again.) There's the obvious loss from timeline tweaking, but also that Kirk's not available, and of course now all I want is for them to find a way to make it work. I don't even know how! More time travel? Kirk starts to get memories he's not supposed to? I'm also fine if the Kirk in the ship is another timeline version of him, or if there's suddenly two Kirks. Maybe the other Kirk, her Kirk, gets flung into this timeline but has temporary amnesia. I'm really not picky! I just want La'an to get the person she wants.

I have to admit that I haven't seen all of S&H (there's so much to watch!) but I'm working on it, and I've seen plenty, and I'm fine with spoilers if there are any. This is one of the shippiest ships out there, isn't it? :D So much potential for everything. All the undercover stuff (both short-time for a small case and longer where one has to infiltrate a group and there are meetings with a handler etc.), and hurt/comfort and pining, and all the intense and meaningful moments of being really close to each other. They are so married already but they don't seem to realize it. They really should.

God I love these two together. I remember when I first gave this a try. I wasn't prepared for how badly they'd tackle me. :D Their chemistry is everything. <3 I want more of it. All of it. Harvey being a bit of a dick but with a heart, Mike being his brilliant self but still not always the smartest, and all the ways they could end up together, any point in time. All the tropey stuff.
Or maybe there's a villain there to menace them! I tried to decide who should be the main target, but then figured I'm very fond of all the scenarios, whether it's Mike (Harvey to the rescue, being so protective it's not even funny), or Harvey (Mike will figure out a way, I'm sure), or both (Ahhh, both in peril and clinging to each other, figuratively or metaphorically!). I don't even care what it is, if it's blackmailing or kidnapping or something genuinely life threatening. I feel like anything's good if it gets them off balance and brings them closer.

Honestly, it was the end of 1x05 that did it for me. Beard's feet and how he shifts closer to Ted, whether he realizes it or not. His body knows what he wants. Does he? Maybe he doesn't know he's into Ted and it comes as a surprise at some very inconvenient moment. Or he knows he's into Ted but tries to ignore it to the point of making up lies about his perfect relationship and pushing Ted on dates etc. Or Ted can see that things are really, really not fine with Jane, so he tries to fix it and things evolve from there. Or some good old h/c that could go either way. Maybe they it starts when they've been a part, in different countries, and really start to miss each other. I'm not fussed here, any point in canon or pre or post is great. :D

They're so much fun, omg. I love how they end up being friends despite everything, and I wish we got more of them together on screen. So, for something set earlier, maybe Trent balancing between being a journalist and being a friend/more than a friend? Or all the ways he's involved with Ted's life as he's making the book, and how it brings them closer. Or something post-canon where he's figuring out his future and what he wants to do next. Somehow Ted's involved, but where and how? It could be fun to see Trent visiting Ted and being on Ted's territory for once.
Trent/Colin
Ngl, the moment I saw them at the club together I needed Colin to break up with his boyfriend. I know! Awful! They're so sweet together I shouldn't want this. But I did and do, so he could end up with Trent because I feel they'd be wonderful together. :D Maybe Trent's pining, trying not to do anything, and finally things change when he least expects it.
Isaac/Colin
I just... really like the idea that Isaac, despite everything, starts to realize that maybe he's into guys anyway, or at least into Colin? And that's why his initial reaction was so rough? Maybe it happens slowly and one day he's like shit, this is not good, he's taken so I need to pull away, and Colin's not fine with that at all.
Roy/Jamie
Does this even need any explanation? :D I mean Jesus, these two. <3 They're both kind of terrible in their own ways, and together they're often the worst, but then when it works out it's like magic and I just adore the chemistry between them. I will never tire of them having a go at each other but also bonding and getting really close. Maybe Jamie gets yet another stupid idea and pulls Ray into it. Maybe they're enjoying an evening in some other town they're visiting. Maybe Ray's training methods get a bit too intense and something breaks. Or go for something darker with James causing a whole set of issues, and Jamie ending up at Ray's place or something.
Rebecca/Keeley
In an earlier prompt I mentioned that I love Keeley so much, but the fact is that obviously I love them both, so. <3 And they'd make such a great couple! Keeley's fun, smart, confident af, flirty, open to everything. Hot too. And Rebecca also knows how to be tough and confident and stunning, but she's more reserved, and I love the moments when she makes a statement and just shines.
I love how Keeley flirts with Rebecca and is just do damn easy about it all. So maybe they hook up for one time because it seems like a fun thing to do, or maybe they catch feelings and it's more serious. Maybe there's a dare or a bet, or maybe Rebecca's going on a date and he doesn't show up and Keeley's there to make sure she gets a full date anyway? Or maybe Keeley needs something and Rebecca fixes it or helps her out.

I'm a simple person with simple needs, and one of those needs is this messy pair of people struggling to deal with each other and their history and what they've been through, both trying in their own way to pull away from it but being completely and totally unable to do that. When they collide it's still a mess but it's a beautiful mess. There's anger and guilt and sense of duty, and this sort of pseudo incest vibe, and I just love it to pieces.

They're such a delicious pair of characters with a built in dynamic that
All the inner conflict Bradley could have. The torment of wanting Maverick and knowing he's like family so he shouldn't, not Mav, anyone but Mav. Hating Mav and blaming him for so many things, and then hating himself for being so weak and even considering forgiveness. And finally caving in and dealing with it. The struggle and angst along the way makes it wonderful, the intensity between them. And Mav having his own inner turmoil because Bradley is who he is, he's so off limits it's not even funny, and then hating himself when his resistance cracks. Just. They both have so many reasons to resist but they're also kind of perfect for each other once they get there. They need each other to feel whole.
Maybe a snapshot or a missing scene from the movie (or pre-movie). Riding Mav's bike, fixing things together and getting all greasy and needing a clean-up, oh dear. Celebrating some victory or accomplishment, having a blast and maybe dancing and then somehow slow dancing. Anything with their various uniforms. Either one crashing the other's place for reasons, drunk or otherwise, or going for what was supposed to be a "family trip" except now there's all this awkward tension and this can't be wise but how exactly does one resist when he's right there?

Okay, so I shoved all this stuff into my nominations slots thinking "Hmm, I like the idea of this existing" and then promptly decided to request it all, too. :D I just love this show, the cast, the characters, the paranormal-or-not-who-even-knows mysteries, the bizarre murder cases, and all the potential it had. And in case you wonder, I'm not averse to the gruesomeness at all! I thought it was sort of cool, heads in flowerpots and all that. I'm not squeamish so more of gruesome murder scenes wouldn't be unwelcome. And even though Ed's not there, I love that sweet nerdy guy, so he's always welcome to join.
For any of these, I would love anything from a regular work case to someone being in peril and needing a rescue, or someone getting hurt (Joe? Ray?) or disappearing (Mansell? Kent?). Or something that's definitely paranormal, like haunted places, more dead people talking through a medium, shadows just in the corner of your eye, all the spooky stuff. Or a day off, a night out, something more mundane. Or they need to work a case with another team for whatever reason and now it's us vs. them. Maybe there's a particularly nasty series of murders and the murderer toys with the team, or targets one (but not Megan, please).
Joe/Kent
This is the most canon-friendly of the ships for sure, and I don't think I'll ever get tired of the idea of them ending up together. It would've been perfect! So obviously I'll take anything that gives them that final push. Anything I've prompted for them before is still welcome. Kent rescuing Joe from eager women, someone getting hurt during a case, Joe having a terrible time and Kent helping him out, or maybe it's Joe who finds Kent spiralling and it's vice versa.
Kent/Mansell
I love the way these two clash in the beginning, and it's like they'll never get along. I like how Mansell somehow manages to be the smarter one by seeing what's there and what Kent should do to move forward. How would these two end up together instead? Who starts it? Does Erica dating Mansell make Kent go "oh no, he's hot now, wtf"? (Just don't hurt Erica in the process, she means a lot to both. Maybe it's an open relationship thing, maybe they can't make it work, I don't know. Also, FWIW, while I'm not looking for a fic focusing on this threesome, I'm not opposed to the idea that they have some kind of an arrangement between all three, in all permutations. I don't have a DNW for consensual incest for a reason. And like... sometimes siblings might share a person. :D)

Their canon friendship is wonderful, so yay for more of that! All the emotional angst and hurt/comfort and friendly support! But I can also see a situation where, with all the help and caring Ray offers him, Joe could end up feeling more. So yes, also very open to that. (I'm not always the biggest fan of killing off women to make the m/m happen but.. maybe an AU where Judy wasn't pregnant and it was in fact worse?)
Louise Iver
And then there's Louise Iver. :D I desperately wanted to know what her deal was! Please tell me. How's the world from her POV, what's she up to when the team doesn't see, what's her history, what's her future? Is she a part of some cult or a leader of one? Is she immortal. Actually, is she even human? Does she always look like an old lady? Is she a time traveller? Or combine her with any and all of the team, ruining their day and nerves, that'd be perfect! She seems to know and see a lot, and she must get the information somehow. But how? Does she have some form of contact with dead people like Joe's father? Are there more people like her?
